Machining centres have advanced in recent years as machines have become faster and more powerful. Micro- Precision's machining centres have been chosen, not only for their rigidity for cutting the harder metals but also for their speed in obtaining the shortest cycle times possible.
The manufacturing layout applied in Micro Precision's milling department is group cellular layout, which is a layout of processing stations (machines) that are arranged around each other. The machines process the same part, or a family of parts that have either similar geometrical shape or a similar processing sequence or a combination of both.
Many of our machines use the latest in probing technology; we also have access to an extensive range of the latest tooling with 24hr delivery on specialized tooling.
Micro Precision utilise 4- and 5-axis machining centres for the manufacture of complex prismatic parts. The latest CAD/CAM software supports all major wireframe and solid model formats.
